Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. In this class, you will practice long holds allowing your muscled to deeply relax and heal. There are only 5-7 poses that are held anywhere from 3-20 minutes at a time. We will journal at the very end of class to reflect on any physical, emotional, mental or spiritual sensations that you may have experienced in class. This class is a good complement to more active practices and an excellent remedy to reducing stress. Leave this class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Nicole will be teaching class as a Yoga Girl certified Yoga Instructor. She recently completed her yoga teacher training under Rachel Brathen, the mind and heart behind this mission. Mommy and Me classes are a great way to expose children 3-10 years old to the yoga environment, while also holding space for quality time with mom. In this workshop, you will explore headstands and other inversion asanas with variations for them all. Did you know downward facing dog is an inversion? Anytime your head is below your heart and hips the pose is considered and inversion! You will work on how to engage your body properly and safely when building your inversion practice.
You will focus on stretching and strengthening poses to help support and activate the muscles you need to best enter and exit your inversions.

This yoga class and the funds raised will be donated to the Live Free Animal Rescue. This is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue based out of Pelham, NH. LFAR rescues abandoned, neglected and traumatized dogs from southern states and focuses on high-risk dogs and puppies. LFAR also takes in local owner surrenders here in New Hampshire. Every dog that comes to LFAR will be fully vetted before finding their furever home and LFAR is committed to each of their dogs for life. In 2023, LFAR saved over 800 dogs!
We will have a couple puppies at the studio and a gentle yoga class. We hope you can make it!

Join us for a 90 minute New Years Intention Setting Yoga Workshop. We will spend the majority of class doing guided journaling. Every year we do the same journaling sequence so that we can reflect on what we have written in the past as well as get clear on our intentions for the future. We will spend time reflecting and processing 2023 while also channeling our hopes and dreams for 2024. This is a beautiful practice that will leave you feeling ready for the year ahead. We incorporate a gentle yoga practice in as well including a savasana to relax and restore the mind body and soul.

We are hosting a donation based class to help raise money for our neighbor Danibeth’s recovery. Danibeth is one of the owners at American Hair Barn next door to the studio. She was in a car accident and has a long recovery road ahead. We will center this yoga class around sending her healing vibes, thoughts and prayers. This class is free of charge but we ask that you make a donation of any nomination in order to join. We will accept cash donations at the time of class.
